Never Lose Hope For Kidney Disease Patients

As a doctor, I must face many patients with Renal Failure and even end-stage Renal Failure everyday. Though they don not speak out, I can feel that some of them feel depression for their disease. Kidney disease is so knotty that they have to go to hospital for treatments and dialysis again and again. Sometimes, they are dull to their recovery in creatinine and GFR. It is because they are worrying they think there is no hope for treat the disease effectively. To some degree, hope is more important than the treatment itself. If they do not believe the recovery, they will never recover. I do no want to see their unhappy expression and I think it is a big failure for a doctor who can only treat the disease physically. I am always tell myself that I should be the doctor who can bring health to them at body and heart. When I have time, I am glad to tell story with my patients who I always call my friends. Story is a good way to deliver hope and love to them. Today, i want to share one of my favourite stories with you. No matter who you are, doctors, readers, patient or so on, please hold that there are hope for you.
A man who has bankrupted in this economic crisis locked himself in a basement for three days. He was so poor that he could not buy a pair of shoes for himself, so he lost all his hope. He walked on the street aimlessly and even wanted to lose his life. However, he changed his mind for he saw a disable man who had no feet. Then, he come to his basement and wrote lines on the mirror: I have no shoes but he has no feet. Finally, this man struggled with confidence and found new start. This story maybe not proper, but I hope it can bring hopes to you. Though we may have knotty disease, but there are many treatments in front of us. Therefore. Do not be scared for there are many patients surround you will fight against the disease together.
